I really want to lose 30 pounds in 6 weeks with only eating one day a week. I don't care about what is considered "healthy" or not. i simply just would like to know if this is even remotely possible.

no. this will actually cause you to GAIN weight.
your body will go into shock from not getting the vitamins it needs so when you DO eat, your body will store that food as fat because it won't know the next time it'll get any nutrients.
your best bet is eat about 6 small meals a day to keep your metabolism going.
if you can't eat 6 meals, eat as many as you can and between meals chew gum
when you chew gum, your body thinks its getting food that it needs to burn so your metabolism kicks back up.
also have A LOT of cardio in your work out routine
